This mangaka's artwork has become so refined since II gatto sul G I and it really shows here. Saki may be a spin-off character but his love story filled with misunderstandings, past mistakes and regrets is well done here and in a sense more mature. I have always like Riya's kind cousin as I follow Riya's sad story and it is great that Saki finally has his own. Flashbacks mingling with the present, Saki's journey as he finds what he thought lost was one lovely read. And Irving is just the right hunk for this butterfly. The sex is not totally explicit but who cares.
The art is excellent and the story is so interesting.
I think this side story is far more great than the original "Il Gatto Sul G."
And if you like Tooko Miyagi sensei's works, you shouldn't miss her new manga "Genji Monogatari" (eventhough it's not yaoi).
